Drawing inspiration from U.S. infantry supplies of the late 1960s,
global accessories brand Herschel Supply introduces the Surplus Collection for Fall 2016. This
comprehensive selection of everyday essentials unites authentic herringbone twill with tactically inspired
details.
Each Army-toned piece features heavy-duty exposed zippers and hardware constructed with tumbled
matte nickel, which was utilized by infantry soldiers to reduce glare. Also among the design-driven
finishes are durable cotton webbing utility straps, a custom Tiger Camo liner and internal Surplus Division
field ops branding.
Joining the military-inspired range of backpack, tote, duffle, hip pack and travel kit silhouettes is Surplus
headwear. Styles such as the Guard fatigue cap, which is new for Fall, and the Creek bucket hat are
detailed with antique copper hardware and an internal notebook sleeve built into the top panel of the
crown.
The Surplus Collection for Fall 2016 is available at global stockists and online, which ships
internationally.
