Internationally renowned sneaker boutique and lifestyle brand, Concepts (Cambridge, MA & New York City), is continuing their yearlong celebration in honor of their 20th anniversary by releasing a series of exclusive collaborations with the world’s top athletic brands.
For their next global exclusive, Concepts has joined forces with Boston-based New Balance for the release of the limited edition Concepts x New Balance TBTF “Night Trail” model, their first joint collaboration of 2016. Part of the New Balance Lifestyle portfolio, this new silhouette is the “Trailbuster Reengineered,” a modern interpretation of the classic New Balance ‘90s trail running shoe. It will launch exclusively on Saturday, February 6, at Concepts in Cambridge, MA, Concepts in New York City and online at www.cncptsintl.com with a retail price of $135.00.
Building on their ten year collaborative relationship, Concepts teamed up with New Balance to help reimagine their classic Trailbuster model. The result is the Concepts x New Balance TBTF “Night Trail,” a contemporary take on the hiking aesthetic that blends performance technology with premium lifestyle materials made for the urban explorer.
With New Balance’s history as a performance brand and Concepts’ mission of pushing the boundaries, the style utilizes materials that enable practical use of the model whether on the trails or on the sidewalk. For safe visibility at night, the upper is done in reflective textile and metallic close-knit mesh with a reflective New Balance FantomFit welded skin. The upper also includes reflective eyelets and metallic embroidery on the tongue label. Built to withstand the elements, outdoor detailing includes heel webbing and a woven Concepts-branded lace. The style offers a red Concepts-branded insert, hangtag, limited-edition Concepts packaging and multiple trail-inspired lace options.
The limited edition collaboration will be available for in-store purchase beginning at 10:00am EST on February 6. Electronic sales will go live on the Concepts website at 12:00pm EST on February 6 and includes complimentary shipping domestically.
