The one shoe that always seems to get retro'd year after year on an endless schedule looks as if it will be taking a little vacation. Via the folks over at Sole Collector, Jordan Brand VP of Footwear David Schechter let the cat out the bag that the Air Jordan 3 will indeed be put on the shelf for an undisclosed amount of time.
The Jordan Brand VP stated, "The Air Jordan 3 is going back in the vault. The last color just dropped.", referring to the recent "Sport Blue" AJ3. Jordan Brand is planning on to "reset" the silhouette which we could honestly not be any more happy about. As much as we love the AJ3 I think we can all agree maybe its ran its course for the time being. Too much of anything is not a good thing and if it takes JB to put the shoe on the shelf for a good period of time only to bring it back better than ever we welcome it with open arms.
