adidas Originals brings forth a brand new silouette perfect for the Summer months pulling inspiration from all over the place. The main inspiration behind the look of the shoe is the SL 72 which was made popular in the 1972 Olympic Games. This completely new shoe features a mostly mesh upper with hints of suede throughout to break things up. Classic adidas stripes are seen on the side of the shoe with everything sitting on a very comfortable cushioned midsole.
The SL Loop Runner will be available officialy next month via the adidas online store in solar green, frost mint, onix and solar red. Kudos to adidas on this one, from the looks of the early images this is definetaly a model we can see catching fire quickly. Continue below for some additional images of the new runner/casual hybrid.
